What Our Clients Say About Us
The only goal I see at Prairie Therapy is to assist their clients in full rehabilitation of their injuries. No fancy ads, no flashy offices, just pride in helping people regain their active lifestyle. In over 25 years, I have not seen a clinic with a true multi disciplinary team that does not care who treats you, just what is best for you. If you have an injury and are seeking treatment elsewhere, you have chosen the wrong clinic to treat your injury in my opinion. I can’t say enough about the care I have received and have recommended Prairie Therapy to all my friends, family and collegues

Christine literally changed my life. I came to see her with lower back pain which I had suffered with for several years. I was used to sitting on the sidelines and was a master at having others to everything for me. I got immediate and lasting relief after the first session. I was able to golf, paddleboard, carry groceries, do housework and do it all pain free. For me, it was a miracle, and I feel incredibly blessed. Thank you Christine for giving me my mobility back again!

I would highly recommend anyone in Calgary and the surrounding area to use Prairie Therapy for all of their athletic therapy needs. I had the pleasure of working with both Brandon and John as I did rehab on my dominant shoulder after injuring it steer wrestling and having extensive surgery on it in April 2011.
Brandon and John worked around my busy work schedule to find times that were convenient for me and motivated me to push myself to increase my range of motion and my rotator cuff strength. They were very knowledgeable and innovative at creating optimal stretches and strengthening techniques so I consistently felt I was getting the most out of my sessions with them and my workouts at home.
I always looked forward to my therapy sessions as I found Brandon and John to be optimistic and outgoing. Also I knew that a session with them would last as long as the patient needs and is not dictated by a one hour appointment time. I also liked how I was always working one-on-one with an athletic therapist, who could make sure I was performing the stretch or strengthening technique correctly, and wasn’t compensating with another muscle group.
After three months of working with Prairie Therapy, I went back to see my surgeon. He was very happy with my strength and muscle tone, and released me, earlier than I expected (after five months!), to go back to calf roping and steer wrestling. I have started roping calves again and feel confident in my shoulder strength because of the hard work that I put in with Brandon and John. I am very grateful that I went to them for my therapy needs and would encourage everyone to contact Prairie Therapy for all of their athletic therapy needs.

You were such a god-send to my family.
After visiting many doctors and chiropractors, the girls were ready to stop playing a sport they loved. It was so amazing to see how just a few appointments with you could literally change their lives. They are both playing volleyball, pain free, and better than ever before. Thank you so much!”

I highly recommend Prairie Therapy. I sustained a shoulder injury about 6 years ago and had surgery 2.5 years ago. I received various treatments both before and after the surgery but that did not prevent my re-injury a year later. Fed up from the lack of progress, I pretty much resigned myself to a life of shoulder instability and pain. I decided to try Prairie Therapy upon the recommendation from the Team Canada AT. After the first week with Brandon I had more strength in my shoulder then I’d had in years. About 6 weeks later, I’m virtually pain free and am confident that I can compete at an elite level without the distraction of this injury.
What separates Brandon, and Prairie Therapy, is that he did not jump to any conclusions about my injury and did a thorough assessment. From there, he gave me a detailed program and explained that it would require hard work on my part – there was a fix, but it was not going to be fast or easy. I appreciated this honesty and I fed off of achieving the small goals that he set for me. The fact that he wants you to help you get better and doesn’t want you to have to constantly come back for treatment is a testament to his character and the philosophy of the company.
